Career advice from those looking back
October 5, 2007 by Gary Schlee
It’s been a good week for web resources aimed at helping students prepare for a career in corporate communications and PR. Joe Thornley, who hired student blogger Chris Clarke just over a year ago to strengthen his firm’s focus on social media tactics, has interviewed Chris to get his advice for students entering the field. The chat can be found at Joe’s Pro PR blog. Chris is leaving Thornley Fallis to join the social media practice at National.
Over at the Teaching PR blog, Karen Russell lists a dozen subjects she would like to see PR practitioners blog about for her students. Some topics have already been tackled (including the Chirs Clarke interview), but the list of takers will probably grow.
