Centennial program launches a blog

October 4, 2007 by Gary Schlee

Centennial PR programThe postgraduate Corporate Communications and Public Relations program at Centennial College has jumped into the social media space with a blog that will:

  • cover student initiatives and activities
  • profile program graduates
  • share useful information with potential applicants
  • include other newsworthy items we haven’t even thought of, yet

Contributors will include program faculty and students. Commenters, we hope, will include grads, practitioners and applicants. Check it out at http://centpr.wordpress.com.

The good news: This looks like a terrific idea.
The bad news: One more entry to my too-large list of feeds! ;-)

    A great initiative Gary,
I’ve subscribed and I’m looking forward to reading the posts and commenting.

Thanks Donna & Joe. Nice to know two of the social media frontrunners will be keeping an eye on what we’re doing.

Great way to share information and a super way to reach out to our grads. Now…..if only it would reduce our marking load!

Christine, there must be an application or plug-in on the horizon to address this issue. Perhaps we could call it Marking Time.
